MEBA’s additive process makes it possible to separate 3D printed metal components from the base plate easily, quickly and without damage. The 3D components in their respective shapes are printed onto a plate, which in turn is fixed onto the MEBA device. After the sawing process is complete, the jig plate is dismantled and can be used for further prints without much effort. The combination of the MEBA 3D 335 / 510 band saw, the 2-column guided and infinitely variable drive saw frame and the right choice of band saw blades enables fine adjustment of the cutting and feed speed so that even delicate objects can be cut with precision.
